Death Cafe is a social forum for people to gather over coffee, tea, and cookies, and discuss human mortality. It was started by Bernard Crettaz, a French-Swiss sociologist, who felt there is a need for creating a safe place for people to explore their fears and concerns about this topic, which is so often a taboo subject for conversation.

The Death Cafe will be chaired by Timothy J. Moynihan, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

Poster Walks

Friday, October 27 from 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM

Led by an expert in the field, Poster Walks are interactive, small-group tours of posters deemed novel, scientifically intriguing, or otherwise interesting to the Poster Walk leader. Poster Walk leaders listings are available in the Program. Poster Walks are not ticketed. Please meet at the Poster Assistance Desk to attend a Poster Walk.
